This is a rectangular bed with slightly rounded corners and a raised rim running around all four sides. The outer wall of the rim carries a wide ribbed structure, with the ribs running vertically from the base up over the top of the rim and continuing onto the inner face. The lying surface in the centre is flat and set below the rim, with a horizontal seam visible where the rim meets the base.
