This is a rectangular bed with rounded corners and a raised rim running around all four sides. The rim is rounded in profile and dips slightly lower along the front edge than at the back and sides. The inner face of the rim and the lying surface are covered in a plain pile texture, while the outer wall is finished in a contrasting darker fabric with a fine grid texture. A vertical stitched seam is visible on the inner rim at each corner, dividing the rim into sections. The lying surface is a separate flat cushion resting inside the rim, with its own perimeter edge visible where it meets the rim. The underside is not shown.
